Annual Impact Report
Each year, OurCalling publishes an annual report to communicate organizational impact, program outcomes, donor support, and stories of transformation. As the lead designer for these publications, I was responsible for translating complex information into a clear, engaging, and visually cohesive narrative.
The process involved collaborating with leadership and development teams to organize large volumes of content, including impact metrics, financial information, photography, testimonials, and program data. Through thoughtful editorial design, information hierarchy, and visual storytelling, I developed publications that balanced data-driven reporting with human-centered storytelling.
These reports were designed to serve multiple audiences, including donors, community partners, volunteers, and supporters, while reinforcing trust, transparency, and the organization's mission. The final publications demonstrate the intersection of editorial design, information design, and brand stewardship across long-form print and digital communications.

Light Up the Streets Gala 2025: A Starlit Soirée
A Starlit Soirée was the creative theme for OurCalling's 2025 Light Up the Streets Gala, an annual fundraising event supporting the organization's mission to serve individuals experiencing homelessness. Inspired by celestial imagery and the symbolism of light, the event identity was designed to feel elegant, aspirational, and memorable while reinforcing the impact of the evening's fundraising efforts.
The project encompassed the development of a comprehensive event branding system spanning pre-event marketing, guest communications, environmental graphics, and presentation materials. From the invitation suite to large-scale event signage, each touchpoint was designed to create a cohesive guest experience and to strengthen the event's overall narrative.
This project demonstrates the development and execution of a large-scale visual identity system across both print and digital applications, ensuring consistency across numerous deliverables while supporting a meaningful fundraising experience.

Light Up the Streets Gala 2024
The 2024 Light Up the Streets Gala was inspired by the glamour and sophistication of the 1920s, drawing on Art Deco architecture, vintage typography, and classic design. The objective was to create an immersive event identity that felt celebratory while remaining aligned with the organization's mission and values.
The branding extended across every stage of the guest journey, including invitations, event collateral, environmental graphics, presentation materials, and digital marketing assets. Through careful attention to typography, pattern development, and visual storytelling, the event experience was unified by a consistent, recognizable design system.
This project highlights the ability to translate a conceptual theme into a fully realized event brand that functions across numerous formats and physical environments.

OurCalling 15th Anniversary
To commemorate fifteen years of impact, I developed a visual identity system for OurCalling's 15th Anniversary celebration. The project centered around creating an anniversary mark that honored the organization's history while remaining consistent with its established brand.
The anniversary identity was applied across a variety of touchpoints, including event signage, merchandise, apparel, presentation materials, and promotional assets. The goal was to create a cohesive visual system that could be used throughout the celebration while reinforcing organizational recognition and donor engagement.

OurCommunity Groundbreaking Celebration
The OurCommunity Groundbreaking Celebration marked the launch of a transformative housing initiative designed to provide long-term support and resources for vulnerable individuals transitioning out of homelessness. My role focused on developing environmental graphics and informational displays to communicate the community's vision to donors, supporters, and event attendees.
A central component of the project was the creation of a custom service icon system comprising 21 unique icons representing the programs and resources available within the community. These graphics were integrated throughout the welcome center and event environment to help visitors better understand the project's scope and impact.
This work demonstrates how design can communicate complex ideas in physical spaces, transforming information into accessible visual experiences that support education, engagement, and fundraising.
