This project began with a user interview aimed at identifying an everyday challenge that could be addressed through digital product design. Through research and discovery, I identified a common pain point: managing household food inventory, tracking expiration dates, and reducing unnecessary grocery purchases.

The resulting concept was a mobile application designed to help users maintain a real-time inventory of pantry and refrigerator items, receive expiration reminders, create efficient shopping lists, and discover recipes based on ingredients they already have on hand. The goal was to simplify meal planning, reduce food waste, and create a more intentional grocery shopping experience.

To inform the design direction, I conducted user research and developed a series of personas representing potential users with varying lifestyles, habits, and cooking needs. These insights guided the creation of user journeys, task flows, storyboards, and wireframes, helping establish a clear and intuitive experience before moving into visual design.

Once the information architecture and interaction patterns were defined, I translated the wireframes into high-fidelity screens in Figma. The interface was designed with a focus on clarity, accessibility, and ease of use, utilizing a clean visual system and streamlined navigation to support everyday use. The final phase involved building an interactive prototype that demonstrated core user flows and validated the overall experience from inventory management to meal planning.
