Icons for awareness challenged me to think. Think about what I am passionate about and what I believe needs attention brought towards. I chose to think about our ocean and the threats that we as humans are incflicting on it. I have learned that our ocean is one of the biggest factors aiding the survival of the human race as well as every living vessel within the planet we call earth. It is imperritive that we focus on saving the ocean to insure life for many generations to come. Our oxygen, water, and food supply relies heavily on the ocean. The icons I designed for the pins reflect the negative effects humanity is doing to ocean wildlife and bring abrupt awareness to these issues.
